Say what actually happened.
When the pilot opens, write privately under a pseudonym. No perfect wording, no need to name your employer, and no pressure to make it a public story.
The comment your manager made. The humiliation nobody acknowledged. The conversation you wish you'd handled differently.
Sometimes you don't need another set of advice. You need an actual person to hear what happened. When the pilot opens, real, vetted human listeners will respond privately, in their own words.
We're recruiting and preparing the human listening team. Private conversations are not open yet. Joining the interest list is not a request for immediate support.
You've left work.
The meeting hasn't left you.
Your manager made a remark in front of everyone. You held it together through the meeting. On the way home, you replayed every word.
You've drafted tomorrow's response. Maybe you've even asked AI what to do. But the part that hurts isn't the unanswered question. It's that nobody has really heard you say what happened.
You don't need to be told to move on. You want to be taken seriously.
That's the Listening Room we're building: a private conversation with a genuine person, not another instruction manual.
One private conversation, on your terms. You choose whether you want someone to listen, offer a human perspective or help you think about next steps.
When the pilot opens, write privately under a pseudonym. No perfect wording, no need to name your employer, and no pressure to make it a public story.
A vetted listener will read your message and write a personal response during staffed hours. No automated empathy pretending to be a real person.
Return to your secure inbox, follow up and continue with your assigned listener while they are available. Realistic response times will be displayed before conversations open.
AI can be genuinely useful, especially when you want an answer quickly. But feeling heard by another person is a different experience. A human listener can bring real-world experience, respond from their own perspective and stay in a conversation with you.
Organise your thoughts. Rehearse a difficult conversation. Draft a message to your manager. AI can help you do all of that in seconds.
A useful answer can make tomorrow easier. It doesn't create a real human relationship.
Someone chooses to give you their attention, listens to your side and responds with human judgement, care and perspective. Not a generated response. Not a scripted performance.
We won't claim a listener has been through something unless they actually have. Human doesn't mean infallible. It means real.
A person has a life outside the conversation. If they've truly been there, they can say so. If not, they can still choose to listen without pretending to understand everything.
With an assigned listener, a private exchange can develop over time. You can follow up without having to turn every message into a new problem to solve.
A private support conversation isn't a pitch for a viral episode. Any separate editorial use requires your own explicit permission.
AI can help you work out what to say tomorrow. The Listening Room is for when you want someone to hear why today hurt. Both can help. Only one is another human choosing to listen.
A genuine human ear shouldn't begin with a sales pitch. We're preparing a small, free, invitation-only pilot for adults. Here's how to register your interest.
We won't open private conversations until vetted listeners, safeguarding procedures, realistic response windows and privacy controls are in place.
Don't share your experience through the interest form. It asks only for your name and email, not a story or support request.
The pilot is planned to be free. This is not a crisis service, psychotherapy, employment law advice or an emergency response service.
Just a name and email. No work story, no employer details, no marketing subscription. We'll contact you only about the Listening Room pilot.
No. Its defining principle is that messages will be read and answered by genuine human listeners. It is not open for conversations yet.
Not at first. The service will use asynchronous private messages with visible staffed hours and a realistic response window. We won't describe it as live chat until it actually is.
We're exploring optional voice notes once privacy, consent and retention safeguards are ready. Voice calls and video are not part of the founding pilot.
Not from a private Listening Room conversation. The editorial Confessional is a separate experience and any publication would require separate, specific permission.
