Privacy notice

How we handle customer, visitor and enquiry data, and the choices you have.

Effective 29 October 2026 · Uplift House Limited · England and Wales

1. Controller and contact

Uplift House Limited, trading as Office Politics, is the controller of personal information we determine how to use. Contact hello@weareuplift.club for privacy matters. Registered in England and Wales, number 17250503; registered office 405 Kings Road, London SW10 0BB. See our company information page.

2. Information we process

Depending on your interaction with us, this may include your name, email address, billing details supplied through the payment flow, order and transaction identifiers, purchased items, support correspondence, device/browser information, IP address, basic security or hosting logs, and cookie preferences. We do not normally receive your complete payment-card number from Stripe. Please do not send sensitive personal information in general enquiries unless necessary.

3. Purpose and lawful basis

4. Suppliers and sharing

Stripe processes payments; Vercel hosts the website, handles privacy-friendly Web Analytics and may host downloadable files and process technical logs; Resend sends transactional purchase-confirmation and access emails and processes their delivery metadata; Google Fonts may be requested by the browser where enabled. These suppliers process data under their own applicable terms and roles. We share personal information only where reasonably needed for these services, legal compliance, professional advice or a lawful business transfer. We do not sell personal information.

5. International transfers

Some suppliers may process information outside the UK. Where UK transfer rules apply and an adequacy decision does not cover the transfer, we seek appropriate safeguards, such as the UK International Data Transfer Agreement, UK Addendum or other permitted mechanism, together with supplementary safeguards where needed.

6. Retention

We retain transaction and accounting records for the periods necessary to meet UK tax and accounting requirements, commonly up to six years where applicable; correspondence for as long as needed to resolve requests or disputes; and security or technical logs for operationally justified periods set with providers. Data may be retained longer where a legal obligation or dispute requires it. We review retention and delete or anonymise data when no longer needed.

7. Your rights

Subject to applicable exceptions, you may request access, rectification, erasure, restriction, portability, or object to certain processing. Where processing relies on consent, you may withdraw it at any time without affecting earlier lawful processing. Contact us by email; we may verify identity before responding. You can complain to the UK Information Commissioner's Office at ico.org.uk.

8. Cookies and links

See our Cookie notice. Our site may link to external providers, whose own notices apply to their processing.

9. Children

Our website and workplace products are aimed at adults. They are not intended for children, and we do not knowingly solicit their personal information.

10. Changes

We may update this notice to reflect actual practices or legal changes. We will publish the current version here and provide additional notice where legally required.
